It is an epoxy resin-based two-pack floor coating with a semi-gloss finish, delivering high resistance to abrasion, foot traffic, vehicular traffic, oils, fats, and industrial chemicals on concrete floors.
Use Crown Two Pack Epoxy Thinner. Do NOT use mineral turpentine or white spirit, which are incompatible with epoxy resins and cause cloudy precipitates or cure failure. Clean equipment immediately after use with epoxy thinner.
Mix the Base and Hardener in the exact proportion supplied on the kit label, stirring thoroughly for 3–5 minutes. Allow a 10–15 minute induction time. Usable pot life is approximately 2 to 4 hours at 25°C; prepare only as much as can be applied within this window.
Concrete must be fully cured (minimum 28 days), structurally sound, clean, and dry with moisture content below 5%. Mechanical diamond grinding or acid etching with water flushing is required to remove laitance.
Touch dry in 2 to 4 hours; recoat after 16 to 24 hours at 25°C. Light pedestrian traffic is permitted after 24 hours; full chemical and vehicular cure requires 7 days.
