It is a high-performance two-component acrylic polyurethane enamel cured with isocyanate hardener, designed for repairing and recoating commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and machinery with exceptional gloss and UV durability.
The mixing ratio is 4 parts Base to 1 part Hardener by volume, thinned with approximately 15% to 25% Duco 2K Acrylic Thinner to spray viscosity. Mix thoroughly and allow a 5-minute induction period.
Use ONLY Duco 2K Acrylic Thinner. NEVER use mineral turpentine or standard cellulose thinners, as foreign solvents and moisture react with isocyanates, causing loss of gloss, pinholes, and cure failure.
Suitable for mild steel, galvanized iron, aluminium, fibreglass, and timber, provided surfaces are suitably primed with Crown Duco Primer Surfacer or appropriate 2K etch primer.
Because the hardener contains aliphatic isocyanates, spray application MUST be performed with an air-fed respirator (or certified isocyanate-rated mask), full-body protective suit, nitrile gloves, and eye goggles inside a ventilated booth.
