Degrease the surface with a strong cleaning solvent i.e. Basco Standard Thinner or Duracoat Quick Air Drying Thinner. If wooden surface has to be painted, it should have been well seasoned and free from any residual moisture. For good results either apply Basco sanding Sealer or Basco Autoguard Cellulose Primer prior to painting with Duracoat Quick Air Drying Enamel.
