This product is recommended for use on Structural Steel & Iron, Galvanized Sheet Metal, Mild Steel Railings & Gates. It is especially suited for Degreased and/or Weathered Galvanised steel & Rust free, clean, dry Mild steel. For optimum performance and film build, 1 - 2 Coats are recommended.

According to DuraCoat technical specifications, the theoretical spread rate is 1st Coat: 6 - 8 Sq. Mt/LtrSubsequent Coats: 7 - 9 Sq. Mt/Ltr. Actual coverage on site depends on surface porosity, plaster texture, substrate absorption, and application method.
Duracoat Rust Guard Metal Primer is touch-dry in approximately 4 - 6 Hours. Allow sufficient curing between coats before handling.
