Prepare the surface by cleaning, washing, removing dust, dirt, any oil, grease or loose particles. For existing terraces, the substrate must be strong. Damaged areas must be repaired with a polymer-modified mortar using AquaTech Bondlatex 503. APP or any other Bitumen based waterproofing treatments must be completely removed by mechanical means.

According to DuraCoat technical specifications, the theoretical spread rate is Roof: 2 - 2.3 Sq.Mt/L/Coat, Walls: 1st Coat: 4 Sq.Mt/L/Coat, 2nd Coat: 3.5 Sq.Mt/L/2 coats. Actual coverage on site depends on surface porosity, plaster texture, substrate absorption, and application method.
Allow at least 2 – 3 hours between successive coats under standard atmospheric conditions (25°C and 50% relative humidity).
