Exterior Weatherproof Masonry & Boundary Wall Painting
100% pure acrylic exterior weather-shield paints engineered to resist extreme equatorial UV radiation, driving rain, and algae growth on facades and boundary walls.
Caparol ETICS System B (EPS) is an engineered building facade insulation system developed by DAW SE. It utilizes high-density flame-retardant EPS boards bonded and mechanically fixed to external masonry, reinforced with Caparol ArmaReno CP mortar and alkali-resistant mesh, and finished with breathable textured plasters like StructurePutz. Sienna Paints Kenya supplies complete system components and certified application contracting across Nairobi and Kenya.
Pioneering German-engineered External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) utilizing high-density EPS insulation boards to slash building heating and cooling energy while sealing building envelopes against water ingress.

Caparol ETICS System B (External Thermal Insulation Composite System) is a multi-layered exterior cladding system. It consists of high-density flame-retardant EPS boards adhered and mechanically anchored to exterior walls, reinforced with a polymer-modified mortar and fiberglass mesh, and coated with a protective textured plaster. It wraps the entire building in a continuous thermal blanket, dramatically reducing heat transfer.
In Kenya, external insulation serves two vital purposes: in cold or high-altitude regions (such as Limuru, Tigoni, Nanyuki, Kericho, and high parts of Nairobi), it keeps interiors warm and eliminates condensation and mold; in hot or sunny areas, it deflects intense solar radiation, lowering interior temperatures and reducing air-conditioning electricity expenses by up to 40%. Additionally, it seals external masonry against wind-driven rain and prevents facade thermal cracking.
Caparol System B uses flame-retardant Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), making it lightweight, highly cost-effective, and easy to handle for residential villas, mid-rise commercial buildings, and perimeter facades. System A uses mineral wool (rockwool), which offers Euroclass A1 non-combustible fire resistance and enhanced acoustic damping, making it the preferred specification for high-rise commercial towers and hospitals.
Caparol offers several high-performance exterior finishes compatible with System B, including Caparol StructurePutz (silicone or acrylic textured plaster), CapaGrain, and CapaStone architectural stone finishes. All topcoats must be applied over Caparol CapaPutz Primer to ensure uniform suction and permanent adhesion.
