The most widely used airless spray tip worldwide. The genuine Graco RAC X 517 tip delivers a 10-inch fan width and 0.017-inch orifice, optimized for standard wall emulsions, exterior paints, and primers.
Crafted from high-grade tungsten carbide to maintain a uniform fan pattern and consistent film thickness over thousands of litres of abrasive architectural paint.
Supplied by Paints Kenya for commercial painting contractors and residential spray crews throughout Kenya.
Approved surface preparation standards, methodology statements, and target sector deployment protocols.
High-opacity washable silk, satin, and matt architectural emulsion painting for residential homes, corporate offices, and institutions.
Our application crews handle diamond grinding, surface moisture testing, and multi-coat installation adhering strictly to manufacturer technical data sheets.
It provides the ideal combination: a 10-inch wide fan for fast wall coverage, paired with a 0.017" orifice that handles unthinned emulsions without pump strain.
A genuine Graco tip typically sprays 300 to 500 litres of architectural emulsion before natural orifice wear begins widening the spray pattern.
When the fan width shrinks (e.g. from 10" down to 7") and the edges become heavy with 'tails' or uneven stripes, the orifice has enlarged and the tip must be replaced.
Turn the tip 180 degrees, point into a waste bucket, pull the trigger for one second to blow the obstruction clear, and rotate back to spray.
Yes, Paints Kenya imports 100% genuine Graco tips manufactured in the United States.
